How it works

Open the hatch.

Place your baby in the bed and cover them warmly.

Take the envelope containing the identification code and accompanying information with you. You will find our contact details, an explanation of what will happen to your baby, and an identification code confirming that you are the person who left the child. You can contact us anonymously at any time. You have six months to reconsider your decision.

When the hatch is opened, a silent alarm is activated. A staff member will be with your baby within 15 minutes.

A doctor is immediately notified and will examine your baby. If necessary, your child will be taken to the nearest hospital.
